Our Inception

In April 1997, the Conception Bay South Town Council, together with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, took steps to initiate a steering committee made up of concerned citizens to assist with the implementation of an innovative approach to policing in the community. This approach is known as Community Based Policing. In May of 2002, the Town of Paradise approached our Committee to explore the feasibility of partnering with us. Conception Bay South and Paradise share many of the same problems and concerns and our shared concerns will become our shared victories. We are the Conception Bay South / Paradise Community Policing Committee. We are here to help you improve the safety of our Communities.
